Refund Policy

At Sunterra Energy Sdn Bhd, we aim to provide clear and reliable services to our customers. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which payments may be refunded.
1. Products and Services
Sunterra Energy Sdn Bhd provides solar photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage solutions, operation and maintenance services, consultancy and related engineering and installation services.
The applicable price, scope of work, payment schedule and other commercial terms will be stated in the relevant quotation, proposal, invoice, sales order, service agreement or contract issued to the customer.
2. Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the payment and the applicable agreement between Sunterra Energy Sdn Bhd and the customer.
Where a refund is applicable, the amount refunded will generally be limited to the amount determined under the applicable quotation, agreement or payment terms.
Payments relating to products or services that have already been procured, delivered, installed, customised or otherwise incurred costs may not be refundable, subject to the applicable agreement and Malaysian law.
3. Cancellation
Customers who wish to cancel an order or service should contact us as soon as possible.
Cancellation requests will be reviewed based on:
- the stage of the project;
- products or equipment already ordered or procured;
- work already completed;
- third-party costs incurred;
- applicable administrative or other charges;
- the terms stated in the relevant agreement.
4. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, Sunterra Energy Sdn Bhd will process the refund using the original payment method where reasonably practicable.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the customer’s bank or payment service provider.
5. Non-Refundable Payments
Certain payments may be non-refundable where they relate to costs already incurred by Sunterra Energy Sdn Bhd, including procurement, customised equipment, third-party services, authority applications, site work or other project-related expenses, subject to the applicable agreement and law.
